Meridian Audio - Pioneers

Meridian Audio craft innovative, elegant, high performance audio solutions. They work with other brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, LG Consumer Electronics and British Airways, ultimately transforming the way people experience sound, wherever they may be.

Synopsis of film.

As the pioneers of Hi-Res Audio, our corporate brand film takes viewers back to the beginning of Meridian Audio, showing that we have over four decades of experience in pushing boundaries, disrupting the norm and delivering audio products that have shaped the industry and redefined how people experience sound. Through innovative and interesting visual experiments, Meridian shows viewers the impact that sound can have on people’s lives – how it makes them feel and in what environments they can enjoy high quality audio. We are the pioneers of Hi-Res Audio.

The main objectives were to:

• Create a 1:00 - 1:30 brand film that is made for B2B and B2C

• Position Meridian as a relevant and forward-thinking brand

• Be disruptive in a positive way

• Create awareness

• Feature marine, automotive, home automation

• Feature IP and partnerships

• Be proud and confident

• Have that wow factor

• Be about the experience

• Connect on a personal level

The purpose of the project was to communicate Meridian’s value proposition clearly in a short film that could be used both across our own channels and our global partners’ channels and position us as ‘The pioneers of High Resolution audio’. We wanted something that reflected our special and unique brand values and fantastic partnerships in an exciting, yet literal and easy to understand, film.

Breathe Visuals looked at the company’s core values, broke them down, dissected them, and brought them to life visually. We wanted to take the viewer on a journey, through all aspects of Meridian Audio — from the first ever made speaker, the M1, to research and development, to the experience of sound, and finally, to the top of the range, current Special Edition DSP8000 speakers. Meridian Audio is at the top of our field, and we wanted the video to represent that. It was vital that whoever watches the film, gets an insight into Meridian Audio. Results in relation to objectives. The end result has delivered above and beyond our expectations and has been very well received.
